We have a quick response when problems do come up but we never lose focus of our goal to prevent them in the first place. We use the acronym FIRES to help illustrate the idea that it’s much better to prevent FIRES than it is to have each day filled with the urgency of extinguishing FIRES. Our experience has taught us that a property owner will usually make more money on their investment with a good property manager, than they would on their own. Kasteel Property Management was created because its founders, Jeff and Kim Stinson, experienced in their early years of real estate investing that not all property management companies are the same. Jeff and Kim became aware of problematic issues in the industry and began brainstorming ways to solve them and thus Kasteel Property Management was born.
We know how important it is to prevent problems before they start. Some of the ways we do that is by beginning with a quality property, an intense focus on getting a vacancy filled with quality tenants, ensuring a thorough screening process, detailed and regular inspections, and quick action on maintenance issues. This leads to both happy clients and happy tenants. We strive to provide excellent service, competitive prices, and take care of your rental property as carefully as we do our own.

Jeff
Jeff’s interest in the real estate industry began by watching his parents invest. After attending BYU, Jeff entered the Real Estate Industry as a Mortgage Loan Officer for Sterling Capital in 2001. During his employment, Jeff gained knowledge and experience that he used to develop his own extensive and varied real estate portfolio. As an owner of rental properties, he recognized problematic issues in the property management industry and worked to find solutions. Jeff knew that he could use these solutions to develop a business model that would help property owners maximize the profits on their investment without the problems and hassles that so many others experience. Jeff used this knowledge to blaze the trail for expanding Stonebridge Real Estate (sister company of Sterling Capital) by creating a property management division. After Jeff obtained his brokers license, Stonebridge Real Estate allowed him to take full ownership over the property management division he had developed and he re-established it as Kasteel Property Management.

Kim
Kim has watched Kasteel grow, primarily by word of mouth, to over 150 managed units as of 2022. She saw that Kasteel could serve many more clients by sharing our expertise through dynamic videos, reaching out via social media, and increasing our efforts in referral marketing. While this has allowed Kasteel to expand its reach and bring on new clients, it has also led to the development of valuable relationships with industries that also serve the same customer base. These relationships have led to a strong network of industry experts ready to serve our clients with the same level of care as we do.
Kim enjoys being a mother to her and Jeff’s six children, exploring the outdoors on her electric bike, rafting the Provo river, advocating for children with special needs, helping to raise awareness of the performing arts in the community, and serving as a member of the Parks Arts and Recreation board for the city of Springville.
